Overview
These terms and conditions govern the provision of services by Tiger Tint & Wrap (Tiger Tint 2022 Limited, NZBN 9429050155897), operating from 52 Coleridge Street, Sydenham, Christchurch 8023. By engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
Service Agreement
When you accept a quote from Tiger Tint & Wrap, a binding service agreement is formed between you (the customer) and us. The scope of work, materials, and pricing outlined in the quote form the basis of this agreement.
We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel an order at our discretion if we determine that the work cannot be completed to our quality standards.
All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Pricing may change after this period due to material cost fluctuations.
Booking and Scheduling
Appointments are confirmed once both parties agree on a date and scope of work. We require reasonable notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
If you fail to present your vehicle at the agreed time without prior notice, we may charge a rebooking fee or require a deposit for future bookings.
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, EFTPOS, bank transfer, and major credit cards.
For larger jobs (full body PPF, full wraps, or work exceeding $2,000), we may require a 50% deposit at the time of booking with the balance due upon completion.
Vehicles will not be released until payment has been received in full. Overdue accounts may incur interest at 2% per month on the outstanding balance.
Vehicle Condition
Your vehicle should be presented in a reasonably clean condition. If additional preparation is required beyond what is included in the quoted service, we will notify you of any extra charges before proceeding.
We will document any pre-existing damage to your vehicle before commencing work. Tiger Tint & Wrap is not liable for pre-existing paint defects, chips, scratches, or corrosion that may become more visible after film application or removal.
Warranty Conditions
All warranty terms are specific to the product and service provided. The applicable warranty period is stated on your invoice and in the product documentation provided at completion.
- Window Tinting: Lifetime warranty on Global Window Films covering bubbling, peeling, cracking, and discolouration.
- Paint Protection Film: 10-year warranty covering yellowing, peeling, cracking, and delamination.
- Ceramic Coating: Lifetime warranty on Dura-Seal ceramic coating, subject to following the recommended maintenance schedule.
- Vehicle Wrapping: 5-year warranty covering peeling, lifting, cracking, and excessive fading.
Warranties cover defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. They do not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, improper cleaning products, automated car washes, or failure to follow care instructions.
To make a warranty claim, contact us with your original invoice and a description of the issue. We will inspect the work and, if the claim is valid, repair or replace the affected area at no cost to you.
Limitation of Liability
Tiger Tint & Wrap will exercise reasonable skill and care in the performance of all services. However, our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.
We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from our services, including but not limited to loss of use of vehicle, loss of income, or any other economic loss.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under New Zealand law, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
Care of Your Vehicle
While your vehicle is in our care, we will take reasonable precautions to protect it. However, we are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle.
We recommend removing valuables and personal items from your vehicle before dropping it off.
Intellectual Property
We may photograph completed work for use in our portfolio, website, and social media channels. If you do not wish your vehicle to be photographed, please let us know before work commences.
Disputes
We are committed to resolving any issues fairly and promptly. If you are not satisfied with our work, please contact us within 14 days of completion so we can inspect and address the issue. If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing any legal action.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts. Nothing in these terms affects your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The most current version will always be available on our website. Changes take effect from the date they are published.
